SafeSend Organizer - Add Additional Pages
Can we get a feature when the client is filling out thier Organizer to be able to add additional organizer pages to what the system produces? Reason being is that if the Grids only have 1 additional area to fill out, but I have 5 additional items to add, I am 4 short in order to provide complete information. I can see this being extremely helpful with Sch C/E/F expenses, Schedule A (Charitable Contributions) and many other areas.

Hi Donnie, Thank you for providing this insight! For scenarios where the taxpayer needs to add more information, we have implemented the 'Notes' section. We may suggest that you advise clients in your Saved Message that they can use this section in case they run out of fillable areas in the Organizer.
Now a days a lot of firms are using OCR technology like SurePrep, etc. that can read the tax organizer from the SafeSend fillable Organizer, but adding the additional items to the notes page nullifies that opportunity and turns that back into a manual process. This can lead to input errors, etc. Firms are trying to take away as much manual process as possible and use technology to turn the 1st Preparer into a 1st Reviewer.
I see what you're saying! I will go ahead and submit a request to see if we can implement other options for taxpayers who need more fillable areas to enter all their information.
