SafeSend Suite

Improvements

Roles Based Access Controls

• Create custom User Groups with unique permissions for each group
• Restrict and allow functionality within SafeSend by user group
• Limit each user's access to product and operations

SafeSend Welcome Page

• New landing page in SafeSend that hosts all products within the Suite in one place

SafeSend Navigation Widget

• Navigate to any product in the Suite from anywhere

Enhanced User Experience

• All new look and layout within the SafeSend Suite
• Easier navigation and vibrant new colors within the Suite

Miscellaneous

• Grouped Returns restored from the Recycle Bin will now resume signing and voucher reminders if applicable

SafeSend Returns

Improvements

• Stability, reliability, and security improvements throughout all of SafeSend Returns.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where custom column values could not be deleted
• Fixed an issue where Spouse delegation for addition e-sign documents would not make appear in Audit Report
• Fixed an issue where you could not add a SafeSend Help Center link to the Client Instructions
• Fixed an issue where when ERO stamp delegation was disabled, a user could still place an ERO signature stamp
• Fixed an issue where if a user updated an email but declined to resend an access link the email would not update
• Fixed an issue where after uploading estimates to a delivered return, it would fail to send to the taxpayer

SafeSend Signatures & MailMerge

Improvements

• Enhanced validation messaging in MailMerge when uploading with templates that have custom fields
• Stability, reliability, and security improvements throughout all of SafeSend Signatures.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where reminders would still be sent even if the signature document failed to deliver
• Fixed an issue where sometimes users would get an error when refreshing the delegate signer page
• Fixed various UI issues within SafeSend Signatures

SafeSend Organizers

Improvements

• Taxpayer signatures will now pre-populate when signing in SafeSend Organizers
• Stability, reliability, and security improvements throughout all of SafeSend Organizers.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where the firm logo would be off center in SafeSend Organizer related emails
• Fixed an issue where the header of the taxpayer screen would disappear when navigating an organizer via a tablet
• Fixed an issue where the screen would refresh when navigating through an organizer via the client view
• Fixed an issue where a user could deliver an organizer without a contact person or message body
• Fixed an issue where users were unable to edit a batch name if the batch contained the " / " character
• Fixed an issue where a organizer locked email would not be sent when a taxpayer is locked out when trying to access via SMS
• Fixed an issue where source documents could still be uploaded even when they were turned off
• Fixed an issue where in-process organizer report would not display when deleting organizers from the last page

SafeSend Extensions

Improvements

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where text in PDF would be missing or unreadable when viewing it when processing an Extension
• Fixed an issue where transmittals would appear in the Tax Return section and Transmittals section simultaneously
• Fixed an issue where an error would be displayed when trying to update delegate information in the summary page
• Fixed an issue where taxpayer preview would not load in some scenarios
• Fixed an issue where some users would appear as EROs when processing an extension that were not EROs
• Fixed an issue where the screen would go blank when sorting filters

SafeSend Exchange

Improvements

Create and Manage Document Request Lists 

(Currently, Document Requests Lists are only available in the SafeSend Web Application)

• Create customizable document request lists and send them securely through SafeSend Exchange
• Track all open requests and download files when they come in
• Send the requests with SafeSend Exchange custom access codes

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where some files sent via Exchange could not be downloaded
• Fixed an issue where in some cases users could not view another's inbox (intermittent)
• Fixed an issue where in some cases drop off links would go to a different internal user
• Fixed an issue where exchange would not allow sending and downloading of files containing and ampersand [&]
• Fixed an issue where in some cases a whitelisted email address attempting to send a file via drop off link would go to Spam anyways
