December 15th 2023 Product News for the SafeSend Suite

An update to SafeSend products was released. See below for more information about the changes.

SafeSend Organizer

Improvements

• Removed the "Save & Notify Tax Professional" button from the Source Documents Upload screen on the client side to prevent client confusion about document submission to the firm.
  • There are now two action buttons: “Continue Later” and “Finish.”
  • Documents will autosave on the page once uploaded.
  • To upload additional documents later, the client will click Continue Later.
  • Firms will receive a notification once the client clicks Finish.
• For married filing joint returns, the “Send for Review” button will now be displayed as a “Send to my Spouse” button with revised pop-up verbiage.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where fillable boxes were not populating in the Organizer when utilizing taxpayer preview.
