Feature Request: SafeSend Signature Templates
PROBLEM
Setting up and sending an ad hoc signature request, like an ACH authorization form, through SafeSend takes a long time, especially compared to other e-signing services. We need to set up each ad hoc signature document manually.
POSSIBLE COUNTERMEASURES
- Add template documents to the signatures application.
- Bonus for a feature where the ad hoc form is available via a link.
- Mega bonus for allowing form field pre-filling with URL parameters.
MORE INFORMATION
We currently use DocuSign for e-signatures. They have a feature called PowerForm that we use for two things:
- Collecting W-9s
- Collecting ACH authorization form
The PowerForm has a direct URL, and each form field becomes a URL parameter for the document. If I want to send an ACH authorization form, I only need to paste the PowerForm URL and fill out its parameters. The client gets a fully personalized e-signature experience with minimal effort. If I don't know the information to pre-fill, I can send the naked URL, and the client can enter the information independently.
Collecting this information using SafeSend Signatures is much more complicated and manual. 😕
Comments
Hi Max,
Thanks for providing this feedback! I see 2 requests here:
I will submit both requests to our product team to consider implementing in a future release.
Thanks, Alyse! 😁
We like SafeSend so far. Our goal is to replace DocuSign with SafeSend Signatures.
I'd happily show you how I use the URL parameters to pre-populate a DocuSign signature request. It's probably too early for that, though, lol.
Any update on this? Would be extremely helpful.
Agreed - the ACH form is the exact scenario we are trying to achieve with SS Signatures... need a feature that is similar to Adobe's Web Form or Docusign's Power Form. Just a link we can send people or embed in our website - "click here and fill out & e-sign this form"
Create a form fillable PDF for ACH requests and send through Exchange. Let me know if you want to see what we use.
Agreed. Has there been any progress on this since the original request 2 years ago? Our previous electronic signature platform had this option and it was very helpful.
