Safe Send Signature - Option to turn off type signature
We would like to request an enhancement to be able to turn off option to type a signature on a document. In other words, the person can only be allowed to sign with a signature.

Thanks for the feedback. We have had other similar requests where firms want do the opposite and enforce the 'Type' signature option. Regardless, I can see why it would be beneficial to enforce the use of one or the other signature options. I will add your information to our request for a setting like this!
Our primary challenge with SafeSend involves the "Type to Sign" feature. Several documents have been rejected by taxing agencies specifically because the "Type to Sign" option was utilized; however, the same documents are accepted without issue when clients electronically sign without using the generic "Type to Sign" method.
This recurring problem has forced us to revert to our previous service for handling "one-off" documents, resulting in the need to manage two separate platforms for the same function—a process that has become increasingly burdensome.
It would be extremely beneficial if SafeSend allowed users to disable the "Type to Sign" feature on a per-document basis, as needed. This flexibility would streamline our workflow, ensure compliance with agency requirements, and allow us to remain fully within the SafeSend platform.
