Invitation to Client Portal

We would like to allow clients to access the portal, but during tax time is not the best time to do it - we'd love the ability to send an invitation email out in November, say, that would enable clients to get their portal log-ins all set up BEFORE we start sending them Organizers and/or doc requests and returns.

I love the idea of a central location to access their documents, but we and they are already stressed when we start sending things out - it would be a great improvement to have the portal set up prior to crunch time.

Also the "Get Started" button right next to the "Access Portal" link is confusing - most clients wouldn't know to click one or the other - I foresee LOTS of phone calls about this. I think if a client hasn't set up a portal account, they should just have the Get Started button - if their portal set up, they should see "Access Portal".

    Hello!

    A System Admin can go into Product Settings > General, and then scroll down until they locate Client Portal Experience. From there, you can copy the Client Portal URL to use in sending messages to your clients!

  • Our clients struggled with the two different buttons for Get Started or Axcess Portal. We would love to have our clients set-up and trained to use the portal before January 31st!

  • Ok this is going to be a dumb question - but I have looked everywhere and cannot find how to send just a client portal invite. I ended up just sending Gather Invites, but now most of my clients do not have a portal set up. We just began using SafeSend in late November so I am still getting the hang of it, but I wish I could figure out more easily the beginning parts of the process. It feels like every time I search for the client portal invite it just brings me back to the email templates or the returns invite.
