Amended Returns - Support Prior Years
It is great that SafeSend now supports amended returns, however, they are only supported for the 2024 tax year. Please update to include at least a few years prior to 2024.

Hi Nanette, while we certainly understand the need to support prior year amended returns, this is likely something that will not be implemented, as training all returns/forms already takes a big workload on our recognition specialist. Our priorities will need to focus on training returns that are most commonly uploaded for the tax year.
As you may know, many users still have success uploading unsupported amended returns and continue to do so. We suggest that for any successful uploads on 2023 and prior, just double-check all e-file forms, vouchers, amounts, etc. appear correctly, as we cannot make the correction from the backend.
