Gather AI request for businesses
Gather AI should have a feature to roll forward individually created request lists without having to re-create them each year.
While a basic template for businesses is great. Some clients need more or less year in and year out, so after a template is modified for a specific client, it should just roll forward.

I agree 100%, especially for entity requests! It would be very beneficial to be able to customize a DRL for entity returns and have them roll forward from year to year. There are no organizers for the entity gather requests so the only choice is a generic request list, which often causes confusion and more phone calls. We have over 600 entity returns and would put the time in to add custom requests lists that would ultimately save us phone calls and e-mails if it was something that we didn't have to recreate every year.
I also 100% agree that this would be beneficial! We DID spend the man power creating client assist letters for one of our markets for year one - about 400 one-off requests were sent. If this could be rolled over and edited, if needed, and able to send in batches by tax manager/signer for 2026 requests, that would help us justify the client assist letter ask and use Gather requests for most returns.
