Client Requests

1. In GatherAI when clients are using the fillable organizer, many of them aren't seeing the black arrows that bring them through each page of the organizer. Since the back and forward buttons are down on the bottom, the little black arrows (next page-previous page) should be bold and black, the same size as the Back and Save&Close buttons, but centered in the bottom task bar. This would increase visibility and reduce frustration with the pages. 

2. User controls: When clients are moving through the cells in their fillable organizer (like excel) they select 'TAB' to move their cursor to the cell on the right, but when they hit 'Enter' on the keyboard the cursor doesn't move down to the cell below. Feels like they should be able to do both. 

3. Assistive Text size should be larger. Steve the Owl should be one large pop-up in the center at the initial opening that gives the client a customizable message. "If clients would prefer to upload the documented proof, they don't need to do their own math and enter every number into the organizer" or "SafeSend Steve will help you navigate through the parts of this process". Then he should be fixed at the top taskbar. 

4. "Provide Source Documents" sidebar. Being able to customize these notes would be useful too.

  • I'd like to add that I have lost count of the number of our clients that have commented the the checkboxes on the fillable organizer are not lined up properly. This needs to be fixed.

    Also I agree about the arrows at the top of the screen most people are used to scrolling not having to use the arrows to page thru a document so these should be made larger or allow scrolling.

    On the document upload screen we have received calls about clients thinking that they didn't upload their forms because they don't realize that have moved to the template it correlates to. This may need to be made more obvious for the clients to see.

  • We are having issues with the checkboxes as well.  Our tax preparing software wasn't not printing the organizers Standard Questions correctly.  It wasn't happening to all of the organizers.  Their support has not gotten back to me on why this is occurring. Also, we did our due diligence and test the organizer.  Unfortunately, the organizers we tested the Standard Questions printed out correctly, and we did not catch the problem until it was too late. 

    Currently, we do not see how the checkboxes will look on the organizer when we are processing the Gather request. It would be helpful to see the checkboxes on our end before the organizers are sent.  If there is a problem with the organizer for whatever reason, we can fix it before the client gets the email for the Gather request.
