SS Organizers
Has there been any updates to the completion process for the client to ensure we know when they are complete? Last year so many clients uploaded and never clicked finish on either Organizer or Upload Documents; maybe a "I'm finished with my organizer & uploading documents, please send to my accountant" button, lol. A button for those completing the organizer but dropping/mailing their documents as well would be great. Any updates would be great prior to these going out to clients.

100%- THIS. We had a very hard time with this last year as well.
Absolutely, it is unclear to clients, or anyone who has not taken the SafeSend training how clients can see from their side if they have properly completed their organizer and document upload so the firm can start working on it, or if they still have steps to complete. They are also now getting misleading automated emails when they finish the organizer section, but haven't uploaded documents yet, telling them firms have started the review when many of us can't without any documents making it even more confusing on both sides. The automated email also tells them they can access the Client Portal whether it has been enabled or not so they are getting very unclear and misleading information from SafeSend.
To further add to this problem. If the client adds all the appropriate documents in the organizer section and thinks they are done, they will not have a need to hit finish under the Upload documents section. Which is even more confusing. Is there a way when the client finishes all the modules to have an actual "Finished all items" confirmation button? As a company, we do not start to review documents until the organizer is in completed status and the Source Docs are in Finished status.
I agree wholeheartedly with Kim and I have been expressing this thought to SSO for quite some time.
Also, very much agree with Kim- I think before anything else is changed or fixed, the: "Finished all Items" button or something similar is VITAL!!!!!
Agree with all of the above. It is not clear to clients when they are done or not and the automated emails and messages on the landing page do not help the confusion.
