Organizer - Allow users to Add or Remove a spouse due to the change in client's filing status for current year
I tried and can't find a way to add or remove a spouse from SS Organizer manually.
Our client divorced in 2023 and filed the2023 tax return as a married couple for the last time. The 2024 organizer (CCH) is based on the 2023 tax return, therefore, still shows both spouses' info. As a result, the SS Organizer picked up both spouses from 2024 organizer. I tried to remove the spouse from the 2024 SS organizer since our client will file as single for 2024, but I can't find a way to remove the spouse info from the SS organizer manually.
Similarly, when another client got married in 2024, but the organizer, which is still based on the 2023 tax return, does no have spouse info. Therefore, SS organizer only shows one individual for 2024, and there is no way to manually add a spouse to the SS organizer.

Thank you for your feedback! We have submitted an enhancement request to our Development team to add an option to remove the spouse. These requests are reviewed and, if accepted, will be implemented. These changes can take some time to complete.
For now, there is an option to mark the spouse as deceased. This removes the spouse from the process entirely. This will not edit the organizer PDF that was uploaded, so the spouse will still appear on the printed forms.
Also if the spouse is now deceased, there's no way to remove them. Please provide a solution for this!
