Separate Federal and state tax return bookmarks in the client review module
While processing a return, and in the client review stage, the federal and state tax return are collated into one single file, which makes navigation difficult internally and for the client. There needs to be bookmarks for each return, similar to the PDF output from UltraTax when opened in Adobe.

The review steps will display the bookmarks exactly the way that they are in the uploaded PDF. This includes PDFs sent to us through an Integration. If there are no bookmarks that seperate the states, then it won't display that way when it comes into SafeSend. We can go ahead and submit this request, but it's important to note the complexity of a request like this, as the program depends on the bookmarks to be exact for these specific parts of the program.
This would be helpful for those of us who process returns too for when I have to put the ERO signature stamp on the returns. Some of our clients have 20+ state returns and it's not efficient at all.
Yes! This causes a lot of confusion for our clients too, and many phone calls.
It would be great if the state returns would download as separate pdf files from the federal as well - we spend a lot of time manually organizing the pages after downloading.
Yes Please! We got a call recently from a client who couldn't find his state return (there was only one state). Bookmarks would be very helpful.
