Allow spouses to sign returns concurrently
We need to option to send tax returns to both spouses at once instead of sending to one, then them being prompted to send to the other. Every year we get dozens of emails or phone calls (usually from the "spouse", most commonly the wife) saying that they never received a link to sign their return, only to go in and discover that the "taxpayer" (Most commonly the husband) has not even opened their initial email.
This leads us to either have to recall and reprocess the return to send to the "spouse" first, explain to clients that their husband has to sign it, etc. All of this could be solved by simply sending the return to both spouses at once and letting them sign independently of each other. This is a burden and a time waster.

Hello All, this is a very common request we have seen over the years. No guarantees on when we will see this implemented, but we can assure you we already have it on our roadmap!

We get so many complaints from this issue with clients (spouse) being extremely offended.
Agree, this would be so helpful.
I get questioned about this constantly. Even the option to view the return while waiting for the 'spouse' to sign would be helpful!

My whole firm agrees we need the ability for the spouse or taxpayer to sign first.
I think this should've been a higher priority than the portal management dashboard.
