Returns - Remove "Amended" Toggle
One of our admin uploaded an amended return this morning to SafeSend Returns - and then spent 15+ minutes trying to find it in our pending signature requests. It looked like everything was set up correctly on the filters, he even had Return Type set to "All", but it didn't show up. Then he clicked into the Type dropdown and realized there's a new toggle for "Amended", and when it hit that the return was there. This is super confusing and unnecessary - if the type is set to "All" then ALL return types should be visible. Please change this back!

Agree, very confusing to have All not equal All. Adds extra steps when retrieving signatures, checking on statutes, sending reminders or doing any other actions if we have to do it to two separate lists of returns.
This new feature is confusing and a bit unnecessary. Hoping Safesend can remedy this with an option to turn this filter off all together.
Yes, please! I spent WAY too much time looking for this return. I had assumed that if I turned the filter to "all", ALL the returns would be shown.

We depend on SafeSend to simplify our process—not to add unnecessary hurdles. If "Return Type" is set to "All," it should include all returns, including amended WITH the originals.
This pointless update is wasting our time, frustrating our staff, and hurting our productivity. It should have been highlighted in a mass email to all firms, especially as not everyone can attend your summer webinars. It's also not mentioned in your product release notes.
Please revert this feature immediately and communicate major changes like this in advance.
All should mean All. We shouldn't have to go to a completely different view to see Amended returns.
YES!! The Amended toggle is so confusing and not user friendly. Please add as on option to filter, but allow Amended returns to show when ALL is selected.
Agreed! We uploaded a return, sent for signature, couldn't find it and sent again. Had no clue what was going on! Definitely adds time to processing especially when having to toggle it to then download those signed forms separately from the others.
Another agree here. I have two partners very unhappy with the inability to see all of the returns at once. Having the choice to filter just the amended is fine. But the ability to see ALL returns regardless is imperative. My partners are at the point now where they don't even want to utilize SS to deliver amended returns. After all of that work y'all did to get the program to support it!
Agreed! Very confusing, especially when some of our returns are amended, but not all are hidden in the amended toggle section. That toggle makes no sense at all; just list all returns in the same area!
Agreed and this isn't the first thread regarding this either.
Just did an amended return today and this is super annoying!! My suggestion would be to remove "Amended" all together and add a 1040X as a return type since that indicates it is an amended return. In addition, we should be able to select multiple types of returns, not just one or all. Please allow us to select multiple types of returns in the drop down.
