SafeSend Returns - Client Tracking History Available Prior to Recalled Return
Please make the client tracking history available prior to a return being recalled. When a taxpayer receives a return and accesses it numerous times without signing we follow up with an email to both the taxpayer and spouse. The spouse responds they haven't received any emails which is true since the taxpayer has to sign first. We recall the return and send to the spouse, but now all the tracking history prior to the recall is lost and proof that the taxpayer did in fact access the tax return multiple times. It would also be extremely helpful for returns to have parallel signing sequence so they both receive the email at the same time and can sign in any order.
