Duplicate uploads in Gather
This is our first year using SafeSend and so far the Gather process has been very difficult. So many of our clients are uploading duplicates and its taking me very long to sort through. Again, its not 1 or two clients, its almost every other client that uploads and it can be any form- 1099, W2, any sort of statement, it truly does not matter which form it is. We have NEVER had this problem in the past. I don't understand what is going on?
Is there a way to not let the client download a duplicate? Or does anyone have advice/suggestions?

This is definitely an issue for our firm as well! We are using SurePrep for the first time this year and it significantly slows down a process that should go very quickly.
YES! This has been a HUGE issue this year. Almost every single document is duplicated at least once. Sometimes 2 and 3 times. I was thinking it was maybe user error but clearly it is a SafeSend error. Needs to get fixed ASAP.
This was not an issue last year.
What is up with the duplication and lack of a consistent way to upload and receive documents? My clients are angry, my employees are angry, and I am frustrated. Why is SafeSend not responding to this? They have trouble charging for it..........
